Prestige 680 a finalist for Motor Boat Awards

Motor Boat Awards finalist logo

The all-new PRESTIGE 680 has been selected as a finalist for the Motor Boat of The Year Awards in the Flybridge over 60ft category.

Camilo Garroni, designer of the flagship Prestige 750, also designed the 680 and managed to incorporate many of the same features from the larger yacht into the 680.

The bright and open layout of the Prestige 680 is refreshing, and accommodations below sleep 8 plus 2 crew members (aft). The hull is designed for powerful IPS 1200 engines. See the Prestige 680 specifications page on the InterMarine website.

The tides are changing

Last month we wrapped up the magnificent Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, now in its 55th year. The show was bigger than previous years, spanning seven show locations as opposed to the five we had last year. The boats are big, the clientele is bigger – and that’s the trend we are seeing.

More and more, we see the tide is turning in favor of the boating industry. Not only has the average consumer achieved the means to engage in boating due to better economic trends and astute product developments from boat manufacturers, but we are seeing the ultra-affluent demographic embracing the boating lifestyle as well. Prestige Luxury Yachts continue to bring some of the best-selling vessels we have, and in fact several of those models were sold at the show. Jeanneau is not far behind, and Chaparral continues to steal market shares from their main competitors.

Four Winns showcased their spirit of American innovation with the introduction of the 440H, THE largest bowrider in the market at this time. Truly a unique vessel, it blends a comfortable bowrider area complete with electric-lift teak table and a large, open cabin (yes, it spans the entire width of the boat and yes, you can stand comfortably inside).

All in all, there is something for everyone and there is no reason a family can’t enjoy boating. In a future post we will focus on Bayliner, the champion for entry-level runabouts and practical deckboats.

So what are you waiting for? Let’s get on the water!

Prestige 750 wins two awards at Cannes Yachting Festival

2015 Prestige 750

From the official press release –

During the Cannes Yachting Festival, LuxMedia Group organised a superb official ceremony for the World Yachts Trophies. This annual grand gala ceremony, which takes place on “la Croisette,” gathers all the major players in the cruising world. This year, over 700 people were greeted at Carlton Beach.

The PRESTIGE 750, which was nominated in the category of yachts measuring from 50 to 80 feet in length, received not one, but two prestigious trophies out of four possible titles: “Best Layout” and “Most Achieved.”

This double win reaffirms the success of the PRESTIGE brand. The prize for the highest achievement perfectly illustrates the passion of the brand for innovation, as well as our quest for the highest quality, competitive spirit and attention to detail.

The prize for “Best Layout” validates the development strategy of the PRESTIGE brand: to develop interiors that are ever more innovative and more comfortable, while also offering incomparable volume for the size category.

The PRESTIGE 750 was unanimously praised by the international jury, which included the Editors-in-Chief of Yachts and Boats, Yachts Russia, Yachts Emirates, Yachts Croatia, Yachts Lebanon, Yachts Quatar, Invictus Magazines.

These two trophies distinguish the PRESTIGE 750 from her competition, but they are also a beautiful tribute to her designers, Garroni Design, J&J Design, J.P. Concepts and the Prestige Design Department.

Come see this beautiful vessel at the Bahia Mar during the 55th Annual Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, October 30th to November 3rd, 2014.

2015 Models are rolling in

We are very excited to announce that the 2015 Jeanneau motor boats and Prestige luxury yachts have begun to arrive in South Florida.

A few weeks ago we received a Merry Fisher 8.5, a Jeanneau Cap Camarat 8.5, and an all-new  Prestige 420 (the first one to arrive in America!). The much-anticipated Prestige 750 flagship yacht has also arrived in America, though it will be a few more weeks before it makes its way to Fort Lauderdale.

All these boats will be on display at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show this coming October 30 through November 3, 2014. Advance showings of select models may be scheduled through our sales office. Just send us an email

Firefly Sunset Resort in Hope Town, Abacos

What a treat! Prestige Luxury Motor Yachts treated InterMarine guests to a tasty crab lunch at the Firefly Sunset Resort in the Abacos in the Bahamas during our 10-day yachting trip.

The Firefly Bar & Grill, located in the Firefly Sunset Resort in Hope Town, offers fresh seafood and other island-themed dishes along with truly breathtaking views. For our crab lunch sponsored by Prestige Yachts, Firefly put on an elegant display that was also clever, with decorative trees made out of pineapples!

Prestige Yachts has enjoyed tremendous success in the luxury motor yachts market over the last few years. Their ingenious lineup offers true value to the knowledgeable consumer.

A perfect example of their forward-thinking vision is apparent in the redesigned 420 and 450 models. Following the layout patterns of the larger Prestige yachts, these two vessels offer something unique in that size class: two separate cabins with private entrances for each, and a bright, open coupe style salon (gone are the days of a lonely, separate galley).

On the other side of the sizing scale, Prestige is now poised to enter the exclusive market of 70’+ yachts with their upcoming 750. The Prestige 750 truly is an amazing vessel, self-contained and self-reliant. Read the review to learn more. The Prestige 750 will have its American debut at the upcoming Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (October 30 to November 3, 2014).

We thank the Prestige management team for their contribution to help make our Grand Escapade even more special. For those who are interested, the Grand Escapade is an exclusive 10-day trip taken every summer with select InterMarine customers. There are vessel and group size limitations, but those who sign up early know that they are in for a trip of a lifetime.

Intermarine’s Grand Escapade: Bucket-List Kind of Yachting Trip

Every year, our family of boaters takes off on an unforgettable adventure across the waters of the Bahamas. This year the destination was the islands of the Abacos in the Bahamas.

The Bahamas is an archipelago made up of 700 islands. These islands make up certain groups, and one of those groups is the Abacos.  The Abacos is a 120-mile–long chain of islands which are truly a boating and sailing paradise. It is also full of history, charming towns, and beautiful resorts. We could write a long post on everything there is to see and do in the Abacos, but since a picture is worth a thousand words, we’ll let our boating image gallery do the talking.
