BoatTest.com recently reviewed one of the more compact offerings from Chaparral’s new line of sporty, entry-level boats.

The H2O line, which right now features only two boats in two different sizes, is an effective marriage of quality and functionality. While you won’t find stainless steel cupholders, you will find a host of other features that are merely options on other boats in this same price range. Consider an automatic bilge pump and built-in coolers as part of the standard cushy package.

This line delivers four total options: 18′ or 19′ Sport model, and 18′ or 19′ SkiĀ  Fish. According to the Chaparral official website, the Sport model shares DNA with its more expensive SSi sibling, and the Ski & Fish model allows you to transform your vessel “from a wakeboard tow boat to a serious fishing machine in minutes. Reel ’em in with a standard trolling motor, livebait well, elevated casting platform seats and gunwale rod storage.” Both models in the H2O line feature a Mercury 3.0L MPI (Catalyst) Alpha 135hp engine and come with a standard trailer.

Starting at $21,885 (including trailer!!!) this sweet line is a really irresistible deal to value-conscious boaters out there who are looking for compact options. Visit ChaparralBoats.com to view all the details. Or, if you want to see one up close and personal and are in the Miami area, visit the InterMarine booth C80 at the upcoming Miami Boat Show & Strictly Sail event this February 16-20 (and, as an added bonus, you can send in your favorite vacation photo to Intermarine’s Facebook page and enter to win four free tickets). I’m sure you will have loads of fun trying out this boat. I know I will!
